William Mulcahy
Senior Vice President, Actuary

William Mulcahy was Chief Actuary of White Mountains Underwriting Ltd from January 2002 until December 2005. Before joining White Mountains he was Chief actuary at LaSalle Re Ltd. Prior to joining LaSalle he worked in the London Market. He started his insurance career in 1988 as a Trainee Actuary at Norwich Union. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and holds an MA in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin. Before entering the insurance industry he served as an active Duty Officer in the British Navy for seven years. Mr. Mulcahy is a graduate of Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth
