We will write accounts of all sizes in total insured values provided that our minimum premium requirements can be met
Occupancies Underwritten;
All occupancies, except off-shore Marine exposures
Capacity;
- $ 50,000,000 for each customer but typically no more than:
- $ 10,000,000 for earthquake shock in California (Zones A and B)
- $ 25,000,000 for earthquake shock in other critical zones
- $ 25,000,000 for critical windstorm exposures along the Gulf Coast and within the State of Florida
- $25,000,000 for other critical wind zones
- $5,000,000 for Transmission and Distribution Lines
- We will write up to 100% of layers
Attachment Points;
Our attachment point in a given program will vary with the size of the account/exposure. We typically attach in excess of the Normal Loss Expectancy for Fire/Explosion perils and above the 1:50 year return period for catastrophe perils.
We will usually follow the deductibles accepted by the underlying insurer
Perils Insured/Policy Wordings
We will provide Named Perils and All Risk type covers and we will typically follow the policy form of underlying carriers. All policy forms have to be submitted and approved prior to inception date to ensure contract certainty for all parties involved.
Single peril covers (including earthquake, flood and windstorm) will be considered.
Terrorism coverage (TRIA and Non-TRIA) is available for buyers of all risk type policies on a worldwide basis.
Contract Periods;
Typically annual, though multi-year contract periods are available for construction/installation projects
Minimum Premium Requirements;
- $25,000 for non-natural catastrophe exposed placements
- $37,500 for natural catastrophe exposed placements
Mandatory Exclusions;
- Seepage and/or Pollution and/or Contamination Exclusion Clause
- War and Terrorism Exclusion Endorsement (unless Terrorism is purchased back)
- Electronic Data Endorsement
- Nuclear, Radiological, Biological or Chemical Materials Exclusion
- Asbestos Endorsement
- Millennium Exclusion
- Absolute Micro Organism Exclusion

- Policy Specifications
- Statement of Values in an electronically readable format
- Policy Wording (prior to binding)
- Engineering Reports (less than 2 years old) for locations exposing our layer for all industrial/commercial occupancies. COPE information only is acceptable for habitational or office occupancies.

- Bermuda or London Arbitration
- No Service of Suit Clause
