Michael is responsible for the global underwriting of the Credit & Surety business. He has held a variety of positions with Swiss Re in Zurich and London and most recently was Head of Underwriting for Credit, Surety and Political Risk. Michael brings 17 years of broad international reinsurance and insurance underwriting experience with management assignments in New York, Paris and Frankfurt. Starting his career at AIG in corporate risk management he later expanded his expertise by underwriting a variety of transactions in corporate risk financing and credit portfolio management both in reinsurance and capital markets.
Michael holds an MBA from St Gall University/Switzerland.
