Paul Nealon
Chief Risk Officer / Chief Investment Officer
Paul Nealon began his career with Fidelity and Guaranty Life Insurance Company in 1987 as Senior Actuarial
Assistant where he developed the FASB 97 DAC model for the Company. In 1994 Mr. Nealon became Vice President and
Investment Actuary for Falcon Asset Management. He was instrumental in developing the Company's risk management
tools and had a hand in Falcon's marketing strategies via its proprieties integrative risk management model.
Mr. Nealon began a nine-year tenure with the ACE Group of Companies in 1997. While at ACE, he worked in various
capacities from Financial Risk Manager to Chief Operation Officer to Executive Vice President of the company's
investment and risk management arms of business. Mr. Nealon was also a member of ACE's Mergers and Acquisitions
team and was an instrumental force in developing financial models for the purpose of evaluating merger consequences.
He also chaired the Company's Investment Portfolio Management Committee.
Mr. Nealon holds a Master of
Science in mathematics and is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and Fellow of the Society of
Actuaries. Mr. Nealon has also authored a number of articles for trade publications.
