Christopher (Chris) Fisher
Senior Vice President, Property and Energy

Chris Fisher is a Bermudian who has 16 years of underwriting experience in the Bermuda, US and London markets. He began his insurance career in 1990 with BF&M General Insurance Company, a Bermudian commercial and personal lines insurer where he rose to the position of Assistant Manager, Domestic Underwriting Operations. In 1995 Chris joined ACE Bermuda. He spent a year on secondment to ACE’s Lloyd’s operations in 1997 and returned to Bermuda in 1998 to become Vice President in the direct property operation of ACE Bermuda. In 2001 Chris became underwriting manager for ACE USA’s mid-west and west coast direct property operations based in Chicago. In 2003 Chris was again moved back to Bermuda to become Senior Vice President with responsibility for running the ACE Bermuda property operation. Prior to joining Ariel Re in April 2006, Chris was President of ACE USA’s Energy division based in New York. Chris is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and is a graduate of the University of Wales in the UK.
