Brian Gulbransen
Senior Vice President, Marine, Energy and Aviation Underwriting

Prior to joining Ariel Re, Brian Gulbransen was employed with the White Mountains Group. He held the position of SVP & Manager of the Global Marine & Energy Reinsurance Portfolio. He also helped establish the Greenwich, CT; Dublin, Ireland; and Bermuda offices for WTM. Prior to joining WTM, he held the position of VP and Manager of International Marine & Energy Reinsurance for NACRE. Brian began his career with The Home Insurance Company in 1987. He is a graduate of the State University of NY Maritime College at Fort Schuyler where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation Management. Mr. Gulbransen also studied Marine Insurance and Admiralty Law.
