Richard (Rick) Lutenski
Chief Financial Officer of Ariel Holdings Ltd.
Rick Lutenski has more than 20 years of experience in executive positions for reinsurance and insurance companies, both public and non-public. Immediately prior to joining Ariel, he served as Chief Financial Officer for RAM Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda-based company engaged in the financial guaranty reinsurance business, where he led its 2005 initial public offering. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Enhance Financial Services Group, a NYSE-listed company operating in the financial guaranty business and holding substantial joint venture investments in specialty finance businesses; Crum & Forster Holdings, a U.S. national property-casualty insurer; and Amerisure Group, a regional p-c insurance company. As CFO for these organizations, he was responsible for overall capital management and financial leadership, including oversight of the strategic planning, financial, regulatory and SEC reporting, investor relations, investments, ceded reinsurance, actuarial support, and treasury and capital markets activities. His early career included a series of officer level positions at General Re and NAC Re, where he was involved in investment, planning, and management roles. Rick is a Chartered Financial Analyst and earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan and M.P.A. from Michigan State University.
